Tadano launches 60t truck crane
17 November 2009
Tadano is introducing a new 60t capacity truck crane, the GT-600EX, to the global crane market. The Tadano GT-600EX is being introduced to global markets, except those where restrictions by road regulations apply.
The GT-600EX features a round boom and bi-fold fly jib, with the boom reaching 43m when fully extended and a fly jib length of 8.8m to 15.2m. The crane superstructure is mounted on a Tadano own-brand chassis, which Tadano said improves travelling and lifting performance. Lifting of 60t is achievable at a 3m radius. The GT-600EX is equipped with a hydraulic suspension system that Tadano has already used in its all terrain and rough terrain cranes. Tadano said the system allows stable road driving, even at high speeds. Maximum travelling speed of the GT-600EX is 84km/h.
